Prayer and meditation are very important factors in deepening the spiritual life of the individual, but with them must go also action and example, as these are the tangible result of the former. Both are essential.”

Because our community development efforts are focused at the grassroots level, we currently offer devotional spaces in many homes, gatherings, and community centers across Washoe county.  These are created with the intention of bringing people of all backgrounds and beliefs together in prayer, song, and meditation. These reflect the diverse cultural character of our community and seek to stimulate meaningful conversations that can lead to action. As worship is linked with acts of service, a unifying spirit begins to permeate the community.
